Drop a Georaf-rendered map onto any website. Like embedding a YouTube video, but for your data.

How to do it

  1. Open the Embed Maps page in the dashboard.
  2. Click Create Embed.
  3. Pick a file.
  4. Pan and zoom the preview to set the default view your visitors will see.
  5. Choose your options (see below).
  6. Click Create.
You’ll get a one-line iframe snippet:
Paste it into your website’s HTML. Done. The map renders on your page, the data streams from us.

Options

  • Allow pan and zoom, whether visitors can move the map around. Off = static.
  • Show zoom buttons, the +/- buttons in the corner. Cleaner without them.
  • Hide Georaf branding (Pro/Team), removes the “Powered by Georaf” badge.
  • Password (Pro/Team), require a password before the map shows. Not for sensitive data, just for casual privacy.

Plan limits

  • Free: 1 embed.
  • Pro: 5 embeds.
  • Team: unlimited.
See Plans & limits for the full breakdown.

A note on the password option

The password is convenience-grade, not security-grade. Anyone determined enough can dig the data out of the page source. If your data is genuinely sensitive, host it behind your own login, don’t rely on the embed password.
